History
Insight Vacations is Europe's premier escorted tour operator and provides premium escorted motorcoach vacations throughout Europe and other parts of the world. The company was founded in 1978 in London and had a handful of staff carrying about 5,700 passengers. Today, Insight Vacations boasts over 100,000 guests per year with a team of professionals in offices in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore and the UK. In addition, Insight has specialist agents appointed in Argentina, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mauritius, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand.
In 1983, Insight Vacations was the first scheduled tour operator to win 'the Queen's Award for Export Achievement' from Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Smaller Groups
Insight Premium tours are smaller, more intimate and friendlier than the common other tour, with groups averaging around 32 guests and limited to a 40 guest maximum.
More Legroom, More Comfort
Insight's touring couches are luxurious and smoke free and have been reconstructed by removing spare seats, giving travelers twice as much legroom as they would get on a standard coach. In addition, the facilities onboard include a washroom, air-conditioning, adjustable, reclining seats and a state of the art sound system for soothing music. Tour directors also give fascinating commentary.
Delicious Dining
Insight travelers have the chance to enjoy Europe in all of its tantalizing flavors and regional dishes. Each day will begin with a hearty breakfast that is always included and evening meals are always on occasion. Insight's three-course table d'hote dinners consist of soups and salads, pasta, paella, fish, chicken or meats, plus dessert and tea and coffee.

You might experience a delicious medley of fresh seafood in Croatia, a four course dinner and Flamenco Spectacular in Seville, or a rollicking Scottish Highlands Ceilidh.
Dine-Around evenings with Insight will let you choose from many carefully selected restaurants that offer delightfully diverse cuisine and ambience. Selected Hotels in Desirable Locations
While in Europe's key cities, all Insight red-star hotels are centrally located, convenient to major entertainment venues and shopping areas and are within easy reach of historical sites. In the countryside and other areas of natural beauty, guests will enjoy spectacular panoramas in green star rated scenic hotels. On some tours, guests can also have the opportunity to stay in hotels that are carefully selected for their historical and architectural character, like a real Irish Castle, one of Insight's magnificent purple star rated Heritage hotels. Insight accommodations consist of both traditional and modern styles; mainly First Class, Superior First Class or Deluxe standard. Room amenities are excellent and feature en-suite bathroom and shower, phone, mini bar and usually satellite TV.
